Change your design’s page orientation with the Resize feature.

This is available with a Canva Pro or Canva for Enterprise subscription. It’s also available with a Canva for Education or Canva for Nonprofits account status.

Here’s how:

  1. Create or open an existing design.
  2. Click Resize above the editor. You will see the design dimension on the Custom size section.
  3. Switch the values of the height and width to change the page orientation. You can also choose from preset options.
  4. Click Copy & resize.

A new design file will be created for every size option that you selected. You can find them on the All your designs page.

Note: Page orientation is the direction a page is displayed:
–  Portrait: vertical orientation
–  Landscape: horizontal orientation
Team owners, administrators, and template designers can upload fonts to Brand Kits to help members create designs that are on-brand. This is available to Canva ProCanva for EnterpriseCanva for Education and Canva for Nonprofits users. Only upload fonts that you’re licensed to use. See section 4.2 of our Terms of Use for more details. Here’s how:
  1. Click your account icon or photo from the top corner of the homepage to see if you’re in the correct team. If not, click on the team name under Switch teams.
  2. From the homepage, click Brand Kit from the side panel. For Canva for Enterprise users, click your company name from the side panel first, and click the Brand Kits tab.
  3. If you have multiple Brand Kits (for Canva for Enterprise users), select which one to customize.
  4. Under Brand Fonts, click Upload a font. We support OTF, TTF, and WOFF formats.
  5. Choose the file to upload, and click Open.
  6. You will be asked if you have license/rights to use the font. Click Yes, upload away! to confirm that you do.
Wait for the upload to finish. A pop-up message will say if it’s successful or not. See this article if your font doesn’t upload. You can upload up to 100 fonts per account. Set defaults for headings, subheadings, and body text by editing your brand fonts. Uploaded fonts will appear at the top of the list from the editor when adding text to designs.
Check if your file meets the upload requirements. Images with transparent backgrounds like logos and illustrations should be in PNG format to allow transparency.

Here’s how to upload:
  1. Create or open an existing design from the homepage.
  2. Open the Uploads tab in the editor side panel.
  3. Click Upload an image or video.
  4. Choose the file to upload, and click Open. You can also drag and drop the files directly from your computer folder into the editor to upload them.
  5. Wait for the upload to finish. Click to add them to your design.
You can find all uploaded media in your Uploads folder, where you can manage them. Free Canva accounts can store up to 5GB of uploads. Canva ProCanva for Education, and Canva for Nonprofits accounts can store up to 100GB. Canva for Enterprise accounts have unlimited storage.

Use preset platform dimensions or use custom measurements to resize your designs.

Resizing designs is available to Canva ProCanva for EnterpriseCanva for Education, and Canva for Nonprofits users. If you’re designing on a partner website through the Canva Button, this option will not be available.

Here’s how to resize designs:

 

  1. Open the design that you want to resize.
  2. From the toolbar above the editor, click Resize.
  3. Enter custom dimensions, or pick from the preset designs options. Hover your cursor over them to see their dimensions.
  4. Choose how to resize:

 

  • Click Resize to resize the current design. Depending on your design, you might be given the option to pick from two resized variations.
  • Click Copy & Resize to keep your current design unchanged, and to create a new resized version of your design
